Respect to Antec

I have an Antec 900 case, the top USB ports went faulty after about 6 months…   Not so good…

Sent an email off to their support asking if they could help, they reply “send your address – we’ll post the part to you”

A few days later the part arrives in a jiffy bag, sent to the UK from the USA!

Amazing service, Antec!

A little knowledge…

Let’s just say that I have been web designing and administering / managing  networks and systems for a little while…

So why do I have to listen to some blithering idiot who thinks he knows a lot about systems prattle on about blogging and web design when the moron hasn’t even got past making sites with Front Page?!!

Don’t get me wrong, I can be all sweetness and light when someone will actually admit that when it comes to these things that they might need a little help (polishes halo on sleeve), but when the information being spouted is difficult to determine which orifice said pearls of wisdom are emanating from, well, let’s just say that my normally Angelic disposition slides gracelessly across the River Styx and stops off for a beer and punch-up in Hades.

Needless to say, without actually having to spell it out, or enunciate in words of one syllable, I think I managed to point out that the ‘knowledge’ being shared could be considered at about kindergarten level and come back when he had graduated into long trousers.

Yet another ‘easy’ day at the office passed

Is it spring yet?

It’s February. Here in the Northern Hemisphere that means Winter, cold, probably wet, possibly even snowing…..

So why was I out mowing the lawn yesterday? Grass doesn’t grow much during Winter, at least that was what I thought

Wild rabbits have ate most of the grass around here, so what is the problem with them not eating my lawn too! Maybe they don’t like the taste of dog pee or something but I had to cut the blasted stuff!!!!

Maybe the real grass should go and be replaced with Astro Turf, bet the bloody rabbits would try to eat that stuff!!!!

Play this much too much really, but it’s got loads of fun built in!

Playing on a server recently someone paid me a great compliment, called me a cheat!  I was really pleased that someone could do that!!!

Think about it, I’m a crappy player, play because it is fun, just a game, right?

Been playing as an Engineer today (usually go as a Pyro or Soldier) and had some great fun, must do it again sometime.

No-one in their right mind is going to read this, so, dear reader, I will assume you are as unstable as I am and hope that, in a small way, the time you waste reading my drivel is considered worthwhile.

Work centres around computers and their users…

Play, mostly computer games, mainly TF2 and HL2DM (with a bit of Guild Wars for frustration!)

Home, maintenance and pets, with the occasional friend thrown in (or maybe out…)
